Parler being taken down off AWS.. Xking 01/10/2021 (Sun) 03:03:43 No. 39315
Looks like the right having its own platform isn't "allowed"
>>39315 There are good lessons to be learned here about the right's slavish devotion to capital and private enterprise.
I have never used parler. Was it like RIOT? Also this is clearly a psyop to attract new users to the FBI honeypot
>>39329 Never used either, as it (like telegram) requires a jewgle equipped geolocated phone number to make an account. Where riot/matrix is like discord with topic rooms that you need be invited/join to post, I think parler is a twatter clone where you make a post and anyone can comment or retweet/echo on their page. >#speakfreely >read less kek While 'speakfreely' is the platforms tagline/moto, and I assume 'read less' was a toggled collapse/expand button, it seems fitting in this day and age off adhd spergs online obsessed with how many (You)'s and followers they can get for validation
>>39343 Really more reading should in fact be done. I'm gonna go read now.
>Social media platform Gab reported on Saturday a huge increase in traffic as users migrate from Twitter amid widespread bans. “Our traffic is up 753% in the past 24 hours. Tens of millions of visits,” Gab said in a social media statement, responding to a user who said he wasn’t able to make an account. “Please be patient, we aren’t going anywhere. Spinning up 10 new servers tonight. This takes time,” Gab added. >The company also reported over 500,000 new users on Saturday. https://www.theepochtimes.com/free-speech-platform-gab-reports-753-percent-increase-in-traffic-in-24-hours_3650640.html
https://archive.4plebs.org/pol/thread/301946002/ https://twitter.com/donk_enby/status/1347896132798533632 https://twitter.com/sellbooze/status/1348538093750644736 (((Retards))) claiming this is proof it was a honeypot. To me looks more like ZOG tools attacking what they cant control
>>39315 Gab is next
>>39501 gab is self-hosted
>>39503 >gab is self-hosted That may be but there are multiple vectors for attacks. Suspect they will go after payment processing and cut funds to the site next Latest >The social networking platform Parler announced Monday it is suing Amazon after being booted from the latter's web hosting service in the wake of last week's deadly U.S. Capitol riot. >Parler said it is suing for antitrust violation, breach of contract and unlawful business interference and is asking a federal judge to order Amazon to reinstate the platform. They have also had issues with setting up their own servers and now expect to be down longer than anticipated
>>39500 please explain in detail. I am not a real techy person and any further explanation would be of great appreciation. >>39501 gab was a shit site to begin with and andrew torba is a jackass who didn't know how to properly make a twitter clone nor maintain it including the numerous privacy issues the site had (as many critics have stated). Here's some info, let me know what you think. https://archive.li/9X0TV.
contact IP transit providers NTT, GTT, CenturyLink, etc tell them to unplug facebook and AWS identify land-based fiber optic links and power legs for AWS datacenters a small group of 200 patriots can bring facebook and AWS to their knees
>>39518 >please explain in detail Only mild techy here, but it is alleged, that lefties have obtained basically and the data from the last 3 days of parler including Jan. 6. All posts (but anyone could get that), but also alleged they got all private msg's. Also they have the meta data including exif from photos posted to parler on Jan. 6 and plan to use the GPS data of photos to dox people. Now most of this is bs, and for those that use even mild opsec it will be non issue. For some retarded boomers that use real names in profiles and/or use geo tagging in photos (default is on, unless you disable), it could lead to them getting doxxed So if some retard posted pics at the protest then the next day posted a pic of their breakfast at home, the two pics could be connected and a home address found.
>>39518 >, let me know what you think Whoever wrote that does their position a disservice. He could cut out half of the article by dropping the endless slander. The rest seems to be attacking Torba for the completely reasonable dislike of big tech. Like >Torba bitches about getting kicked off a website he doesn't even use anymore Uh... yeah. No fucking shit. No one likes censorship. People are pissed off. The frantic and off the walls nature of this article makes me like him more, not less. I guess that's why it's called "Encyclopedia dramatica" There are some reasonable points the article brings up. But they are subsumed by the preposterously desperate shilling. Calm the fuck down and write a legible article. Jesus.
>>39518 Not a Gabshill, have only basic knowledge of the platform or its creator but, In case no one told you, ED was taken over by literal faggots, trannies, and leftists years ago, I cannot fathom why you would source that garbage
>>39522 An honest site strips exif data without retaining it. A clued user strips exif data before posting. I signed up for parler, but never gave them a real phone number or email address. Oh well, gab is as good. I don't know why parler became the buzz. I signed up for gab, but you know, I never used twitter, and I don't actually use gab. I never had the desire to 'tweet' something.
>>39517 I never signed up for twitter except to post shit twitter immediately banned me for. I never would have signed up at all for any other reason. I don't have a desire to tweet, and never have. I signed up for Gab and Parler ( using fake info ) and while they seem to be as good as Twitter, I don't use them. I just don't want a service that does that.
>>39315 What would you add/change to this? XML https://0bin.net/paste/xlQaMr0Y#MLvxazK0KnuPKQCVTmn6iQc9XU5KwhJYXZsMuWQ1Z3o You can import and modify the XML here https://app.diagrams.net
>>39315 Acceleration and radicalization of pissed off white men and women is going full throttle now. CW2 is inevitable.
>>39681 whats your actual point? the civil war was an imposition on states' rights. the fact the feds won is an embarrassment.

>>39518 Some tranny took an intro to python course and made a webscraper and saved all of the posts on that site. That's about all. They didn't "hack the planet"; all your base do not belong to them/they/it/whatever. In between shopping for cat ears and going on b to get it's boy pussy rated, some tranny right clicked and pressed "save".
>>39690 I didn't go too deep into the thread, so did not confirm whether there was evidence, but the impression I got was "the tranny" managed to get onto the moderation team and also had access to DM's
>>39673 This is a good infographic and says everything I can think of. I agree that the simplest method uses TOR/I2P. For simple web hosting a LAMP server running TOR will cost you a few hundred for a secondhand computer on ebay. Firewall it to everything except TOR and especially don't have it directly connected to the internet so that even if they root it they can't get your IP. This should be good for something slightly more edgy than the public DNS will let you have.

>>39673 Namecoin replaces DNS for memorable TOR and I2P domains.
>>39517 >Suspect they will go after payment processing and cut funds to the site next They already did a while ago. They now use money orders and crypto now.
>>39729 refer to >>39673 for next step
>>39716 >>39718 Other side claims that tranny currently resides in vienna, austria. Any truth too that? And if confirmed, adress or something like that?
>>39734 Disinfo is kikery 101 What is more likely? It was a Burger, or some Europoor? There is also the possibility that both claims are have some truth. Maybe there was two trannies in some discord server working together. Or both claims could be complete bs.
>>39734 I made the >>39716 >>39718 posts, but have zero first hand knowledge if fact

John Matze Says He’s Been Terminated as CEO of Parler App: “I did not participate in this decision. The CEO of the controversial Parler app, John Matze, says he’s been fired from his position by the company’s board. “On January 29, 2021, the Parler board controlled by Rebekah Mercer decided to immediately terminate my position as CEO of Parler. I did not participate in this decision,” Matze wrote in a email to staff, which was obtained by Fox News. “I understand that those who now control the company have made some communications to employees and other third parties that have unfortunately created confusion and prompted me to make this public statement.” “Over the past few months, I’ve met constant resistance to my product vision, my strong belief in free speech and my view of how the Parler site should be managed. For example, I advocated for more product stability and what I believe is a more effective approach to content moderation. I have worked endless hours and fought constant battles to get the Parler site running but at this point, the future of Parler is no longer in my hands. I want to thank the Parler employees, the people on Parler and Parler supporters for their tireless work and devotion to the company. They are an amazing group of diverse, hardworking and talented individuals and I have the utmost respect for them. Many of them have become my second family.” “After that, I’ll be looking for new opportunities where my technical acumen, vision and the causes I am passionate about will be required and respected,” he wrote in closing. “I want to thank all the people of Parler that supported me and the platform. This has been the true American Dream: an idea from a living room to a company of considerable value. I’m not saying goodbye, just so long for now.”
Why people were into parler? Isn't gab the twitter alternative?

>>39673 Thank you.
>>39691 Not him. I don't recall anything but the web scrape. Parler is a wordpress website relying on 3rd party plugins. If someone has to use wordpress templates for a simple twitter clone app then you have a red flag already.
