WARHAMMER 40K Anonymous 04/08/2020 (Wed) 01:09:11 No. 381
I've only played the tabletop game a tiny bit in my teens over a decade ago, but recently have experienced renewed interest in this universe through hearing about it in far-right circles, memes, and the Astartes series on JewTube. Can anyone recommend a book or animated novel that is a good entry point into this universe?

>>381 Started with the Horus Heresy stuff myself, 0% regret
>>405 I started with the original Rogue Trader rule-book. A key thing to do is to begin with the world rule book, then the campaign books for the wider contexts before reading the novels to get individual perspectives. Don't forget the spin offs such as Necromunda.

>>381 Not my recommendation, but I saw this posted to same question "Horus Rising is a must first book. The Oubliette is an entertaining one off book from the warhammer horror series it does not take into account of you knowing about the universe. Farsight is a good book but it's the nr 2 in a series. Anarch A Gaunt Ghost story is a good novella."
