Knife thread Anonymous 01/27/2020 (Mon) 20:53:19 ID:7bbaef No. 230 [Reply] [Last]
Knife general. Am well versed in knives and swords. Ask and I'll answer truthfully with knife and sword related questions
CQB Auto nothing less.
it there like a safe way to carry a knife around, and are there some methods attack someone as discretely as possible.
Yea, the best way to use a knife is to decapitate a US Government agent assigned to *chan and post a selfie on /b/ or /g/

Proper Arsenal for SD/Hunting/SHTF Anonymous 10/22/2019 (Tue) 01:41:36 ID:b637e4 No. 175 [Reply]
Alright /k/, just fuck my shit up. First post here so I would qtddtot but fuck it this board needs more life. I recently went from bum to making double to triple minimum wage, and the first thing I spent that loot on after an apartment and food was firearms. So far I have accumulated a CZ 9mm pistol, mossberg 590a1, 300BO pistol, and two PSA 556 midlength rifle kits with two aero blem lowers. I'm thinking of adding a mossberg 88 and ruger american predator in either 6.5CM or .308 (thoughts? stuck between long range accuracy of CM and affordability/reloadability of .308). ITT, post your arsenals/recommendations for home defense, hunting, and shit hit the fan scenarios. Don't doxx yourselves (I may have already, but fuck it I haven't broken any laws), but let's see if we can help anons new to this board learn what guns would be useful/affordable for them in the aforementioned scenarios.
I recently had around 1300 rounds confiscated by law enforcement along with my EDC's and bug out equipment. Slowly building back up however.

Focus on ammunition. My plan is to save up 6 months of ammo @ 250 rounds a day for each weapon, 9mm HP AP , 300 win mag AP, and special 12GA rounds.
>>175
Are you me? With the exception of a couple shitty .22s, I have acquired the same arsenal over the last couple years. I also decided to go with a 30-06 rifle for hunting.

>>176
Why did they take it?
A court case.
>>185 What the hell was it over??? This is extremely important. Explain.
>>175 (This is all assuming you're in the US, I think you are based off your weapon choice and terminology) I would recommend getting some kind of glock, probably in 9mm. You don't even have to use it but it would be a good thing to have just for parts compatibility with it being the most common pistol in the US in the most common caliber. You could even get an 80% glock, just in case.

Okay, anyone have suggestions for an officer sized 1911 with an aluminum alloy frame below $1500?
Also, does anyone have any experience putting extremely hot 45ACP loads (Underwood, Grizzly, DoubleTap, anything else from 550-600 ft-lbs) through such a gun? How do the frames hold up?

/k/nowledge thread Anonymous 09/18/2019 (Wed) 03:09:42 No. 9 [Reply] [Last]
As you must train your body, surely you must also train your mind.
In the spirit of the lost quality threads of old, I'm calling for a knowledge thread. Share your books that you see as required reading for kommandos and enthusiasts alike, anything from war memoirs and biographies to history books and weapons development. These should be books written by the experts in the field, books of first hand knowledge to be passed on to the next generation. Experiences of the masters of firearms, practitioners of death, the soldiers of fortune, and the inventors of these tools we have come to hold so dear. Bring out your library lists

We'll have another thread for TM's and manuals later, this is for more fireside reading material.

Firearms Curiosa is just that, a book of curious and unusual firearms, creative solutions to problems nobody asked for.
(28.59 KB 318x422 Art of the rifle.jpg)
The Art of the Rifle This book is a great throwback to the skills of old, how to wield a rifle effectively and quickly and how to hit your target no matter the positioning, distance, or conditions. A highly recommended read for poorfags with nothing but a mosin.
